P0505 TOYOTA - Corolla 2001

When starting my engine in the morning the RPM's drops and car is running like it's been warmed up already for a long time.

After I did some research this can be cleaned with SeaFoam. Since I have MAF (Mass Air Flow) cleaner, can I use it? Will it be ok?

Description

the PCM attempts to control engine speed during KOER self-test
The test fails when the desired rpm could not be reached or controlled during the self-test

Possible causes

IAC circuit open
VPWR to IAC solenoid open
IAC circuit shorted to PWR
damaged IAC valve
damage PCM

Diagnostic Aides

The IAC solenoid resistance from 6 to 13 ohms

and some modle resistance from 17 to 25 ohms at room temperature about 60 F
