i have a 2002 ford focus 2.0 (hatchback) I bought for my daughter recently. I has about 140k on it and when I purchased it ran fine. Its a month in now and she noticed it started to slip then it eventually stop going into gear. Auto zone read code p0741. The tranny fluid Is still bright red and if you let it sit for awhile it runs and shifts as it should. Did notice the tranny fluid was overfilled but I hadn't drained the access just yet. Don't know if that's the obvious fix but will start there. After about 20min or so of driving it will slip out of gear and you get nothing from the gears. Is this a heating issue? the engine temp is normal. There is no grinding or horrible noise coming from the transmission but when the shifting goes blank I can hear an electrical shorting kind of noise as I shift through the gears?? (short 2second sound per gear shift.) I honestly don't think its the whole transmission but an electrical part like a solenoid. I plan on going to the Ford parts store in the morning but was hoping for some insight to prevent a lot of wishful thinking and running around for a lost cause if so. I hate to drop a lot of money if not needed. I see a lot of talk about solenoid A but Im having a hard time finding the TCC solenoid as the code describes part of the torque converter. need your help

Thank you in advance
