I have codes P0420 and P0441 on my 2001 Toyota Celica. What might I need to fix or replace? 78000 miles on the vehicle.

P0420 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold

P0441 Evaporative emission control incorrect purge flow

You would find out why you have P0441 if there is an incorrect purge flow If this is from a disconnected vacuum line this can set a P0420 code condition.

  Toyota Celica EVAP System

Here is a vacuum line to a purge valve that got disconnected during an air filter replacement. This set off a P0441 (evap code) and a lean bank and a catalytic efficiency code condition so an inspection of the incorrect purge valve should be done first.
