I have a 2005 VW Jetta. I'm told that my car has a OBD code P2097 "Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank 1 Too Rich." What is the proper repair and how much should it cost. Thank you.

Hi there,

The most common issue would be the rear O2 sensor after the converter, however it could also be the converter itself no longer doing it's job. Cost would vary from about $200 for the sensor to $800 for the new catalytic converter.
