P0300 Random misfire

The EGR are known problem for a intermittent misfire, and does not have to set a code for the EGR. There has also been a update for the EGR valve. and reflash. Try this if at reflash can not be done, with key off engine off, disconnect the EGR connection.  With key on engine off. clear the ECM with the scan tool regardless if there is a code or not. Key off reconnect the EGR and retest for P0300 which usually occurs at 2000 RPM. at load.
