When troubleshooting the P0014 code, I started with the sensor itself. I found oil on it. If I clean it out, will it fix my problem, or is it a symptom of a more serious issue?

Hi there,

This operates using oil pressure, so if you found oil on it, it might be leaking and need to be replaced. If the oil is making a bad connection on the electrical connector it could also cause a problem. Make sure your vehicle is not low on oil and has good oil pressure. Chances are good it's the sensor itself however since you only have the code for one bank and not both.
