This is an intermittent CEL. I have 5V on plug, flexing wire does not effect voltage. Connector and pins look okay. Is this the solenoid or position sensor going bad; could it be o-rings? I do not detect vacuum leak. Engine runs fine, light only comes on at start-never running, but I don't push it above 4700 rpm often. How can I isolate issue since it's not a hard fault?

P1708 IMT (IMRC) System malfunction (High RPM) Stuck long

This would be the IMRC solenoid valve, what happens is the IMRC solenoid valve intermittently sticks, and set this code.
